This Literacy Council complies with Title IX as stated in the federal Education Amendment of 1972, and with Section 504 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973. It offers free literacy and English language skills tutoring to adult residents in Missaukee, Wexford, Osceola, and Lake County without discrimination on the basis of gender, age, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, political beliefs or sexual orientation. We promote diversity within our Board of Directors, and volunteers as well.
